The Styling Formula I Keep Repeating (Without Realizing It)
A friendly reminder that we don't need to add more crap, just play with what we already have.
I was looking back through photos from the past few weeks and noticed something funny. At first glance, the outfits seem completely different: A striped tee with denim shorts; a crisp white button-down with tailored shorts; a printed silk blouse; a simple black tee and skirt; a monochromatic cream look.
But when I looked again a little closer, I realized that I’m actually using the same styling formula over and over again. I have been trying to figure out how to explain my thought process when I get dressed, because frankly I don’t “think” about it, outfits literally pop in my head as something that might work and 99% of the time they work perfectly. It took me zooming out at the big picture to actually see it, and once I saw it, I couldn’t unsee it.
