I’ve come to realize that there are certain brands that are worthy of “best of” or “hero” titles. I realized this as I was reaching to put on my makeup this morning, so I pivoted directions this week on what I was going to write about because I thought this was a good one to share. I’m going to try to be as tight as possible, and focus on the products that I love and the “why" behind them.
Foundation(s): So this category is the workhorse here. When your skin looks great, the rest of your look falls into place. And the truth is, I can’t narrow it down to one or two. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say Chanel makes the single best foundations I’ve used. And I can’t even tell you which one is the best, because out of all the ones in my drawer, I love different ones for different days, depending on my needs. And then I have to include an honorary mention of two new additions to the arsenal that feel like they will be hanging tight in here and have earned their stripes in a short period of time.
