Friends, I feel like I have to share some thoughts before diving into this weeks post. After having lived out of a suitcase for the last two weeks on opposite sides of the country, I found myself getting dressed far easier every single day than I normally do when I have a vast wardrobe to choose from. Lesson learned here? Less IS more - not just when it comes to style, but when it comes to your wardrobe. And the best things don’t have to cost a fortune. If anything, I say save your money for investment pieces - a great blazer, a pair of timeless shoes or a great bag (always a great bag!). So this week I share with you all the amazing finds I was able to pull together while on vacation - because the Lord’s work is never done!
I have been eyeing the Barn Jacket from Tôteme for some time now, and then saw the newest version with the leather collar and loved it. But just couldn’t pull the trigger yet because wasn’t feeling like spending a ton. While scrolling I came upon this option (and this brand, frankly), and was floored. Under $250 and it is so chic and perfect. I’m also ready to start rocking a trench coat - I’ve seen too many of my favorite style icons wearing it and think it’s time for me to rip the bandaid off and wear mine (mine is old Mango and still has the price tag on it). This one is so great and under $300.
Spring is about layers for me - so whether a jacket/trench or a great sweater, it’s about finding the pieces I can throw on top of any outfit when the days start out chilly but warm up by the afternoon. Cardigans are always a great option and a great one will carry you through the summer on a chilly evening over a dress. Here are some great cardis that won’t break the bank.
