I love finding things that look expensive but really aren’t. It’s like a challenge that I will ALWAYS rise to. Give me a budget, some parameters of your needs and off to the races I will go.
First on my list is this Puffy Heart Necklace. One is $145 the other is over $6k - and I’m going to bet you can’t tell which one is which. I actually LOVE the $145 version better. It’s on pre-order (like all good things these days are), but this is something I know I will wear a lot. It’s the statement piece we need with a really simple outfit (simple outfit, me??). But I love it and need it ASAP (in fact, I ordered it already and am patiently awaiting the delivery on or before April 19).
I love a good bag. Bags and shoes are where I spend the bulk of my money if I’m being honest. But sometimes I will stumble across a bag that LOOKS like an expensive one and I am wowed. This is one of those bags. This grey is gorgeous and it’s just over $100. YES PLEASE.
I was given these earrings last summer for my birthday and couldn’t love them more. There is an art deco elegant feel to them and I love that I can dress them up or down. They sell out EVERY DAMN TIME so if you have an inkling towards wanting them, do the pre-order, trust me. It’s a big look for not a big price.
I firmly believe that one of the upsides that came from COVID was companies stepping up their “at-home” facial device game. Because so many people couldn’t go to dermatologists or spas for treatments, we began to experiment with what we could do at home, and some tools are superior to others. I love any tool where I can see immediate results. This tool is one of them. It stimulates your muscles (think of it as a facial workout), and it snatches them back up to where they used to be. I love doing half my face and seeing the results. My sagging jawline, my cheekbones, my eyebrows are all lifted within 5 minutes. Do it daily and the results continue to last. It’s so easy and you can literally see the difference. (Yes the price is SLIGHTLY over my $200 but sign up for their emails and get 10% off and boom, you’re there).
I’m calling it now - this will be my season of denim skirts and I love this one. I find them flattering on everyone (even us vertically challenged ladies). I love the look of it with a chunky belt, a tucked in t-shirt and sandals with a chunky heel (although I love the below with some boots too). EMESE15 will save you if you’re a first time customer!
I need to say, you probably (like me!) need nothing from this post, but if it inspires you to look into your closet or find something similar, then mission accomplished. I write all of these as a source of inspiration - for the both of us! Hope you all are having a wonderful week. I head off to Los Angeles with my 3 girls this Friday so will keep you all posted on our adventures. xx Emese
