Friends - here’s a secret: I have been wearing white jeans since the weather hit any temp above 45 degrees. They just feel fresh and bright and as the weather creeps closer to warmer times ahead, I love planning outfits around them. But let’s be real - they aren’t always the easiest to wear. So I decided to do a round-up of the best ones out there, the ones that I own and the ones I want to own. Because frankly you need more than one pair - they are an art and knowing what to look for and what you need are some important factors to consider before you add to cart. So let’s go through it all.
First off - shade. Pure white? Cream? Eggshell? It’s like when you’re talking about painting a room white and then you get served with 1546 different shade variations. The same goes for jeans. I personally prefer an ecru/creamy white when the weather isn’t the peak of summer. It’s like a transitional white if you will. A slightly wider leg that hits right at the ankle so I can wear it with flats.

These jeans that I wore in LA are my new favorites. They are comfy, and if you’re a shorty like me at 5’4 you don’t need alterations. They have the right width at the bottom of the leg and are flattering. They are true to size. I love wearing them with a cozy cashmere sweater - anything from a pastel pink like this sweater (the same one I am wearing) or my most worn sweater ever.
