This week was the first in a long time - years even - that I felt fully on top of my game with work and home. I felt organized, I felt focused and I had clarity. It’s a feeling and sense of accomplishment that if I’m honest I don’t always have. I normally am bogged down by some form of guilt or worry that I have missed something. Even my purchases this week were ones that felt like exactly what I needed, not impulse purchases that I will never use or wear. Nothing frivolous just the gaps that had to be filled.
I have slowly been editing my closet and when putting outfits together, realized I was missing a classic black loafer. I went down the rabbit hole looking and then when to the mall to try on and these are damn near perfect. They are insanely comfortable as evidenced by the fact that the first time I wore them I walked 20 city blocks. These (size half a size down!) are a great much less expensive option as are these.
I was in and out of the city a bit this week and I am always drawn to the Celine store in SoHo. Rudy is the best there and if you ever need a hand he’s your guy. I finally grabbed a bottle of this delicious fragrance that has been sold out for months - Black Tie. It is equal parts clean as it is feminine. It’s a 18/10 and if you just want to sample something small try the travel size spray but splurge on the travel bottle case too - it’s chic AF. Also - Parade is amazing and one of my favorite fragrances that I wear all the time - it smells like Europe is the best way of describing it lol.
